DESCRIPTION
- Contributing to the advancement of the "Safe Drinking Water Act" by educating the public on potential water contamination and the part that backflow assembly testing plays in protecting the potable water supply.
- Establishing standards in testing of individuals and the certification of examiners who perform this work in conjunction with other recognized certifying bodies (such as ASSE)
- Establishing programs and serving as a focal point for the distribution of technical materials and information pertinent to backflow prevention, backflow assemblies, devices and certification.
